About Us

Eagles Mount Care Home is a family owned and run nursing home, conveniently located next door to the Longfleet House Surgery and only a few doors away from Poole General Hospital.

The home was opened in 1992 and was designed following over 30 years’ experience in the NHS and 20 years owning and operating a number of traditional converted Nursing Homes in the area. It was decided that a Purpose Built home was required to help facilitate a better standard of care delivery.

The home is divided into three separate Nursing Units that run completely independently of each other. Merlin and Starling Units are devoted to the needs of those clients requiring general care in a pleasant and therapeutic environment.

Nightingale Unit is specially equipped and staffed to Cater for the older person with predominate memory and cognitive impairment conditions. All units provide nursing and social care for people with a range of physical and mental health needs.

Eagles Mount Care Home has the priceless attraction of panoramic views that span across Poole Harbour to the nature reserve of Brownsea Island, with several balconies on each floor, including our sensory garden. We also have a beautiful garden and pond with seating to enjoy the flowers.
